Based on the still life works of ceramicists Tam Irving, Gwyn Hanssen-Pigott and the painter Giorgio Morandi, this is a 3D still life composition of the self, focusing on the balance of colour and form, the obvious hand of the artist, and the study of simple objects in repose. Pieces are made from a variety of hand- building and wheel throwing techniques, are bisque-fired, painted with watercolours, and finished with acrylic medium.
